How to use our grow kits

Each kit is a little different, because each mushroom is a bit different in their characteristics and how they grow.  Mushrooms will eventually adapt to their environment the longer they are established there.

Lion's Mane grow kit instructions:

Put the kit in a place where it can get some sun but not direct light

Cut directly into the block about 1/2 an inch in, slice across the front and back of the bag 1 straight line across horizontally.

Cut the sides of the block through the bag vertically 1/2 an inch in as well

Once the mushroom starts growing outside of the bag through the slits that were cut, mist the outside of the bag everyday till harvest.

Once the lions mane is shaggy and long it is ready to harvest!

Oyster grow kit instructions:

 Put the kit in a place where it can get some sun but not direct light

Cut directly into the block about 1/2 an inch in, slice across the front and back of the bag 2 straight lines parallel to each other.

Cut the sides of the block through the bag vertically 1/2 an inch in as well

Once the mushroom starts growing outside of the bag through the slits that were cut, mist the outside of the bag everyday till harvest, placing a plastic bag on top creates a humidity dome that can be helpful.

Once the oysters are big and in clusters bigger than your fist it is ready to harvest!
